I needed a break from the world. So I’m watching Spirited Away, because it is just what I do when I’m really sad.
90% finished with my Explosions in the Sky fan art…. i’m SO! proud of this. Never have I put forth a week’s effort into a picture I drew. :) Patience, patience, patience.

I watch as the grey brain blossoms from Ground X,
Man’s steel seed finally planted.
Swords of flame stab skyward.
An inferno within burns like the end of a cigarro,
Rooting from a twisting stone pedestal.
